5th Workshop on Stability and Control of Infinite-Dimensional Systems (SCINDIS 2026)

The scope of the Workshop includes

• Stability and control of partial differential equations
• Stability and control of time-delay systems
• Input-to-state stability of infinite-dimensional systems
• Stabilizability of infinite-dimensional systems
• Semigroup and admissibility theory
• Infinite-dimensional port-Hamiltonian systems
• Optimization-based control of PDEs

Conference Fees

There are no conference fees at SCINDIS 2026.

Financial Support

Limited financial support (max. 500 euro per person) is available, with PhD students, early career researchers, and researchers with limited funding being given priority. If you would like to apply for financial support, please send your request with a brief justification by 10 August 2026 to scindis2026[at]uni-bayreuth.de

Deadlines

• Deadline for registration with a contributed talk/poster: 10 August, 2026
• Deadline for the registration without talk/poster: 31 August, 2026.

Information for Speakers

• The lecture rooms of the conference are equipped with HDMI connectivity. It is recommended that speakers use their own laptops for their presentations, and make sure to have suitable adapters for an HDMI cable.
  You can check the connectivity during the lunch breaks before the session.
• The beamer in the lecture hall has a display resolution of 1920x1200 (16:10 aspect ratio).
• There is a large blackboard in the lecture room. Hence, if you like, you can give a blackboard talk, or combine projector and blackboard presentation.

Poster Session

• The optimal size of the poster is A0. Poster stands are designed for this size. Surely, smaller posters can be placed there as well.
• The poster presenters are responsible for printing and bringing the posters to the workshop.
