ABSTRACT:

Compartment models of diseases play an important role in the prediction of the future development of the numbers of infectious persons and further derived quanties as the load for physicians and hospitals. Moreover they can be used to derive strategies to fight the disease via control strategies. Important applications are Covid models or models for reemerging vector-borne diseases transmitted via the invasive Tiger mosquitos.
